Functions, conferences and groups
We have a private function area, 35 rooms and a kitchen that is already open at 5am. For a group on the West Coast that combination is unusual.
It suits coach and group tours, conferences and conventions, weddings, private parties, buffets and cocktail events. Packed lunches can be provided for individuals or for the whole party.
The practical advantage of running an event here rather than somewhere more scenic is that everything is on one site. The rooms, the function space, the bistro, the bar and the bottle shop share a car park, so nobody is driving between venues.
For training days, inductions, safety meetings and contractor briefings, the mid-week availability is genuinely good, which is exactly when a tourism town has nothing.
