Staying near Corinna and the Tarkine
Zeehan is the turnoff for Corinna and the Tarkine Coast. That is a fact of the road network rather than a claim, and it is the whole reason to stay here before you go in.

Being straight with you
The last town with everything in it
Once you turn off towards Corinna there is no fuel, no shop, no mobile coverage and no kitchen until you arrive. Corinna itself is deliberately small and remote, which is its entire appeal.
Staying here the night before means you go in with a full tank, a proper breakfast and whatever you forgot bought from the bottle shop in our car park.
It also means you are not attempting the road tired at the end of a long driving day, which matters on a route where wildlife is common and there is nobody to help.
Nearby
In and around the Tarkine
- Corinna and the Pieman River, with the barge if you are continuing north.
- The Tarkine rainforest, one of the largest temperate rainforests on earth.
- Trial Harbour and Granville Harbour, on the wild coast 30 minutes from here.
- Montezuma Falls, on the way back towards Rosebery.
